Joanna Tireas went straight into the ADF after primary school, having no real interest in college. She completed her two years of required service just recently. Without any appealing employment prospects, she decided to follow her twin brother, Max, into the Guard. She is currently working on her certification as a rescue tech.

Jo is an enthusiastic - albeit amateur - photographer, always snapping pictures of various things. She also enjoys swimming and SCUBA diving. She is currently still living at home with her family, but doesn't like to admit it. Born on Sagittaron, she acquired Aquarian citizenship after her father (a widower) remarried to an Aquarian woman.
