Initially her fame came from her family, and even the event of her birth - the first born girl in the Wallace family in five generations. Her father had tried to hide his disappointment, but even in news photos Krista could always see the fact that he resented her for being a girl. She grew to be a doctor and quite a good one as well. She was noted as being a major force in solving a galaxy wide sickness that struck a few years previous.
The announcement that she was - and had been - seeing Granger Starwalt normally would have been fodder only for the society pages, two children of prominent families. But due to the very public Starwalt/Wallace Feud, the star-crossed lovers immediately drew a huge amount of attention to both families, and the couple as well. After a courtship, they were to wed, and privately. However, someone knew their plans it seems, as an attempt on her soon-to-be husband's life was made. Unsuccessful in their attempt, Granger was seriously injured and it was feared he would not wake from his coma for several days. The couple married right in the Medical Center as soon as he was able, and have tried to return to as much of a 'normal' life as possible in the meantime. |
